Dumplings filled with Plum Jam

QUICK-FROZEN

The “dumplings” type dishes are loved in Hungary as well as the plum jam, pairing the two creates a real Hungarian specialty.
Our elders used to spend hours with shaping this delicious food, but now you can get it from the freezer and it takes only a few minutes to prepare.

The plum jam - filling of the Dumplings - is a favorite amongst the housewives, as less sugar is needed for the preservation of plum than for the other fruits’, due to the high fructose content. With baking, jam making the important substances of plum – such as potassium, iron, A- and E- vitamins – are getting more concentrated. Plum is rich in fibers, so its consumption – with high enough liquid intake – helps the proper metabolism.
